Would like to get in touch with Edward Mayer otherwise known as (BALDIE) who lived in bargersville,INDIANA.I beleive he was married with twin children.There was also another young man named Pvt:Benjamin Gabrielson his address was 2201,W Greenfield Ave,Milwaukie.WISCONSIN.he was also married.Then there was another soldier by the name of Pvt:Walter Bason,5068,prestcott,Detroit.Michigan all these soldiers signed my autograph book on my 16th birthday I wonder where they are now they would probably be all in there late seventys and were all going to the Normandy landings.
i am married with four children and still living in Devon but about 25miles from Newton Abbott.I was only a sixteen years old when the Americans were stationed in Newton Abbott which my parents were pleased about as they were afraid they would have lost me to america.
