After completing an active duty tour with the 529th MP Co in Germany I came back to Illinois and was an origianl member of the Springfield based 233d MP Co. I then transferred to the Army Reserve as a Physical Security NCO for a Ammunition Group Headquatrers. With a secondary MOS of 51M Firefighter I was activated for Desert Shield/Storm and went to the sand box with 1st AD 4th AV Task Force Phoenix. After eating Saudi, Iraqi and Kuwaity sand I returned and taught Military Police School in Peoria with the Reserves. I then went back to Springfield and became an Ammunition Specialist and worked as Operations Sergeant in the Material Shop and 1SG of the company. I retired in 1998 from the 303rd.
