Birthday: 1947
Hometown: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Military Status: Veteran

Military Rank: E-4
About Me:
My wife (Vickie) and I were married at the Alameda Naval Air Station in the Base Chapel on November 23, 1968. We have 4 children (all grown & gone) and 4 Granddaughters and two Grandsons.

I was a Photography Sales Rep for 6 years after getting out of the Navy. I then went into Law Enforcement. I was a Deputy Sheriff for 13 years and then a Minneapolis Police Officer for 12 years. I spent 4 years in the Mpls Crime Lab doing Forensic Photography and looking at fingerprints and soon grew tired of taking photos of dead people.

I also joined the Air Force Reserve in 1991 and attempted to serve my Country. On my first weekend of active duty I was summoned to the Colonels Office and advised I was one month to old. I was instructed to go home and wait for word from the Air Force. After over ten years and many phone calls I got my Congreessman involved and he got me a copy of a 1995 discharge. I was Honorably Discharged after 4 years after serving only one day. I recently finally obtained a copy of my Honorable Discharge paper. This has only been 17 years since taking my Swearing in Ceremony... I have served in the US Navy for 6 years (4 years active duty and 2 years inactive reserves) and was Honorabely Discharged. I served 4 years in the US Air Force Reserve (1 day active duty and 4 years inactive duty) and also have the Air Force Honorable Discharge Certificate.

I retired from Police work in the Fall of 2001 and am now enjoying the good life and living in the country.

Since April 2006 I have been working part-time as a Courier Driver for Allina Hospitals at Cambridge Medical Center in Cambridge, MN. I work about 28 hours a week and enjoy being out traveling and the busy schedule of my daily routine.
