I am married, have 4 kids, 2 sons from first marriage, 2 girls from second. I have 3 grandsons now, too. Teach, sing in church choir, work with Project Linus making blankets for kids in the hospital.
I am a Social Studies Teacher in VA who uses the letters I used to get from a Navy Corpsman who was stationed in Vietnam in class when I teach about the war. My kids always want to know what happened to him and I can't tell him because we lost touch a couple years after he got back. My dad was a career Marine (25 years) and he did another 20 civil service on the base after he got out. So the military has been a big part of my life.
Looking for anyone who was a friend of my dads (William Jerry Carter, SSGT, USMC, ret.) or anyone who was stationed with or knew my Navy Corpsman (James R. Walikis, HM3 6970483).
