About Me:
Have only one child 12 yr. old boy. Lost my job at Boeing after 19 1/2 Years. Repetative joint failures/surgeries. Knees, left shoulder, right wrist. Now I am in Catch 22 Hell! Too banged up for work not banged up enough to qualify for certain Govt. programs. So far I am losing some of the small battles, the war is not over yet. I need to Hear from some Camp Eagle guys 1970-1971. 163 Avn. Co. Avation people who spent quality time up & down the Ashau Valley,Or kick back &,mellow out in Khe Sanh.

Have been working on helicopters or A/C 98% of the time since my departure from the Army,(1971) Obtained my A&P license 1974, Logged Pacific Northwest about 5 years, selective cut with heavy lift Helicopters. Tried Life Flight for almost two years, good work but the operators are cocky & unstable. Worked for Embry- Riddle for five years Prescott campus. Fun place, repetative work & low pay. Finally hooked up with Hughes Tool Co. building Apache Helicopters, plus some of their commercial stuff "500" flying Egg. Then a bigger fish came along McDonell Douglas, Then another big fish bougt out & every time our benefits went to Hell. Now Boeing Helicopters/Sister plant in Philadelphia/Chinooks.
