As a member of a special, elite fraternity (a,k.a. "An American Military Veteran") ... time is teaching me so much. The Air Force taught me that I can overcome anything.
Midlife is teaching me about:
BALANCE (in ALL things)
FAITH ... you can't successfully do life without it
PLANNING: "Plan your work and work your plan"
SPIRITUALITY: "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"
FIRST DREAMS: It's actually a sin not to enjoy all of God's bounty. Therefore, "balance" is about living your first dreams rather than your second or third.
I'm a Christian and a Buddhist Meditator. (Christianity leads me to God ... Buddhism teaches me to "see".)
I still love dogs (K-9!) and had no idea how much of a professional the Air Force made me.
CURRENT DREAMS:
* Organic Gardening
* Continued hiking and exercising
* WRITE that book!
* Become the BEST Tech Writer on One Team Tech
* Live a life of compassion and skillfulness
* Learn something new every day
