Posted by Lisa Sigler on 07/24/2010 12:43am Hi I am in search of my uncle that I have never met (Marion Thomas Green). I have no photos of him nor does any family members. I have never met this uncle as he disappeared before I was born (1969). He was at one time stationed somewhere in Japan (Army) and at the time of his disappearance he had been discharged from the military but do not know under what standing. My uncle while in Japan had a daughter named Green (Midori) Midori is Green in Japanese. I do not have a clue as to how to find her or her mother or even my uncle at this point. My uncle missed both my grandparents funerals (his parents). A social Security search was done on him a the time of my grandfather and grandmothers deaths and my grandmother died in 1987. Apparently nothing was found in regards to his soc. number. At the time of his disappearance he was living in Wilmington California on Mar Vista Street. He was known to frequent bars and had been known to get in bar brawls it is believed that he may have gotten in a bar brawl and was somehow murdered intentionally or unintentionally and his body never found. If I cannot find him I would very much like to find his daughter or mother if either of them are still living. More than likely they are still somewhere in Japan somewhere. So if anyone can shed some light on my uncle, his daughter or her mother and how to go about getting some info on any of them I would most certainly appreciate it.
