Best officer I ever had the privilege to work for in my entire enlistment in the USAF. Too bad they couldn't have all been like this man.

Col. Baker drove his car from Wheelus Filed in Libya all the way to the Det. 9 site in Turkey. It took me quite a while to figure out his per diem so he could collect.

If my memory serves me well I can remember it getting to over 120 degrees heat in the kitchen at the chow hall some days and no air conditioning.
